Medium doesn't matter

Books, comics, movies, etc. These are mediums to communicate ideas, stories, interruption and more. Social media counts. Do we actually say it like that? That's a different matter. Today I'm gonna talk about how the medium doesn't matter.

A medium is used to communicate...whatever. Stories count. A comic book, movie, book and whatnot is just a way of letting people know.

It seems very obvious, but why favor one over the other? Why pick a book over TV? A documentary can be just as good as an almanac(help me come up with a better example). A story in a comic book can be just as the one in a novel.

I have to ask why do parents prefer to have their kids read books? They may argue that TV makes you dumb, but it's just a medium, a messenger. Why do people think that a plot in a book is more complex than one in a comics book? Why is a newspaper more credible than an Internet article that has solid evidence?

Each one has it's own advantages, but it boils down to what you comfortable with. If a book is what makes you feel at ease, then fine, but don't say those who don't pick your medium is dumber than you.

It's time to rethink the way we look at it. You cannot say a messenger is horrible for the message it brings. Blame the person who wrote the message not the messenger.
