Thinking like Spock

Remember those incredibly weird personality tests? Yeah, thought so. You want to look smart. Ask yourself what would Spock do if he encountered this question. Instant mastermind or whatever score.

That's what you should do when you want to reinvent yourself. Reinventing yourself may seem something that a young adults novel would discourage, but hey, was Pillars of the Earth a young adult novel?

The point of reinventing yourself is to let you become an entirely different entity, but don't become who you want to be. Seriously, do you want to be like the stereotypical fat guy who just happens to appear in every movie.

Reinvent yourself to become who you want to become, not yourself. Besides, you can prove to be more flexible than you thought. You may not notice it, but there are times where you suck.

The great part of reinventing yourself is that everyone still isn't used to you, so expect them to make tons of mistakes. You will discover a part of yourself that was actually suppressed the entire time.

You will also realize a part of your true self in the process. There. Happy now, young adult novels?

Note: Mindset is more important than methods. When you think about what would a person would do, it is easier than thinking what the manual said.
