Scientists teach computers to 'regret'

Researchers at Israel's Tel Aviv University said they are working to teach computers "regret" to increase efficiency.

The team, working with funding from Google, said their aim is to teach computers to discern the difference between a desired outcome and the actual outcome of a situation and teach them to minimize "regret," American Friends of Tel Aviv University reported Friday.

It seems that giving them emotions will increase efficiency, but won't that help in the robot apocalypse. Full story at UPI
