Thor is a movie of two worlds. Witty and full of derivatives with a mix of good and bad visuals in between.
I'll tell you right now what will be the best parts. The humor. That's it. It has a lot of funny lines. Trust me. Sure, there are some good fight scenes, but the humor tops it. The story keeps switching back and forth between predictable and unpredictable.
Asgard looked stunning, but don't expect the entire thing to be full of great visuals. This film shouldn't have been in 3D.They have a good cast, but not everyone was at their best. I do have to say that Loki was probably the most interesting character. He had some human motives and wasn't a two dimensional villain.
P.S. Hawkeye makes a cameo, but it is really quick. SPOILERS He's the guy who was about to shoot Thor with an arrow.
